We were walking on the tree farm across from my house and came upon a cleared patch and that patch was covered with foxGlove also.
Pretty neat pictures Joanne.
MB.
Small City Sceneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12307313549480618415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-29129790669312160832016-06-25T01:35:20.843-07:002016-06-25T01:35:20.843-07:00That is a sight to be seen! We often find where scrub, hedge or trees are cleared we get masses of foxgloves the next summer. Presumably the seed lies dormant for the right conditions. Nothing on the scale of those though.Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06013731736768963395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-15855963823200291472016-06-24T12:47:19.132-07:002016-06-24T12:47:19.132-07:00A beautiful sight indeed, and the bees love them! ...A beautiful sight indeed, and the bees love them!
Lynda (Granny K)https://www.blogger.com/profile/00769451312708886145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-6057670868211764782016-06-24T11:30:01.117-07:002016-06-24T11:30:01.117-07:00Just amazing! I purchased seed packs and planted in mid June after my teaching school year was over, tossing them anywhere without regard for "full sun" or "shade" requirements. Just assumed "Mother Nature" would figure it all out for me! She just shook her head at me!Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07359404486512786477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-35521646911040368072016-06-24T10:45:17.761-07:002016-06-24T10:45:17.761-07:00JoAnn They are absolutely exquisite. They do seed very freely and obviously they love their situation, so let's hope that they continue to multiply year after year. The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-3807468690146209722016-06-24T08:33:29.616-07:002016-06-24T08:33:29.616-07:00Never, ever, anywhere on earth have I seen foxglov...Never, ever, anywhere on earth have I seen foxgloves which have multiplied such as these, absolutely awesome! In England we had lots along the hedgerows in the country lanes, and some usually visible on roadside banks, but nothing like you found. What a beautiful sight! Were you able to pick any to bring home?

Yes, continuing to behave myself but really feeling guilty being this lazy!
Hugs - Mary
Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11915239653283205065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-80721324840711199092016-06-24T08:32:33.329-07:002016-06-24T08:32:33.329-07:00fields of gloryfields of gloryTomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04082494067802628837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-63444126997977604772016-06-24T06:01:43.795-07:002016-06-24T06:01:43.795-07:00Thanks to your friend Jean.
