October has been good so far but we've already had one or more nights of frost (I haven't checked our weather station again; I know it got down to 31 degrees recently). My garden has frost damaged leaves and the dahlias are looking very unhappy too. I harvested the last of the green beans this evening and picked the cherry tomatoes that are ripe. The deer may get a crack at the remaining leaves and tomatoes. It's gone way too fast! The farm with Mt Baker in the background is beautiful. Oh, what a clever painter you are. LOVE those sweet little birds on the sheet music.
