I really love to look at them, but it is hard to keep a garden going with them around!Pondsidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02407539138546412482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-81449584022780466292013-04-10T12:54:16.383-07:002013-04-10T12:54:16.383-07:00Your pictures are so pretty. They get hungry too!
In the last few days, reading your book, I discovered that we learned to embroider the same way - stem stitch, daisy stitch etc. My grandmother taught me on stamped pillow cases. I struggled with French knots too!
My "walking doll" had brown hair and I named her Barbara. I still have her. She comes out at Christmas in a white dress and red velvet cape that my mother made for her many years ago.Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07359404486512786477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-33902465010907979622013-04-10T12:09:24.648-07:002013-04-10T12:09:24.648-07:00Aren't they pretty, sweet critters? They've gone after my summer crocosmia, and now we have a new little yew that looks like "deer nip" to them. We have some nasty smelling stuff my husband sprays on the appealing stuff, but they still do their share of munching. And there's a total free lunch across the street: acres of an open space recreation area! I guess there's a more interesting buffet in our gardens.Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02971991029290518107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-57803579218023138022013-04-10T10:58:59.321-07:002013-04-10T10:58:59.321-07:00We get roe deer in our fields sometimes JoAnn and ...We get roe deer in our fields sometimes JoAnn and last
year I saw a muntjac as I was driving home down the lane.
Your deer looks such a sweet little thing, but I saw an
article on our TV the other day which said there were now so
many in the UK that they were becoming a pest. The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-70108366155801185682013-04-10T08:33:21.999-07:002013-04-10T08:33:21.999-07:00I've lived in my present home for five years a...I've lived in my present home for five years and never tire of seeing these beauties. They can be a nuisance if you see it that way. They nibble on plants (more when there isn't much in the woods to eat) but I love being able to see them and watch fawns grow.
You got some great shots!Carlettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11178161514195582965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2068392907360378021.post-23816500268087072972013-04-10T07:29:01.903-07:002013-04-10T07:29:01.903-07:00So pretty!
