Outdoor Wednesday - More flowers

As we take drives around town and out in the country we just have to stop and take photos - there are so many lovely shrubs blooming this time of year. It is like the whole town is one big flower.
So much to enjoy this time of the year . . .

A gorgeous tree in the waterfront park in town - caught somebody's dog running through. . .

This pink dogwood is loaded with blossoms . . .

Seems every inch of the branches are loaded with flowers . . .

Close up of the pink dogwood . . .

These double flowered peach trees are planted all along the streets in town . . .

When the blossoms start to fall it looks like pink snow . . .

A white dogwood . . .

And come closer . . .

Must not forget the lilacs - I've never seen a town with so many of them - oh the scent when you drive or walk by . . .

That is Ben's head at the bottom of the photo . . . we had just gone to breakfast together . . .

You just can't resist them . . .

You can almost taste that scent . . .

Some bluebells in our yard - before the deer had them for a snack . . .

Columbine on our front porch railing - I love their old fashioned name - Granny's Bonnet . . .

A lovely house we often drive by - there is always something blooming . . .

Hostas, and rhododendrons . . .

And oh the Bleeding heart . . .
