Barns - On the Way Home

On the way back home from Canada I captured a few more barns in Washington - it was good to be home again.

Almost hidden now by bushes and shrubs - potatoes in the foreground.
This barn looks like it is surprised to have its picture taken.

Beautiful barns and that last one definitely is a little different and startled too. LOL
It is always good to be back home. I feel the same we since we just got home last night.

All very pretty. I'd like to have some of those potatoes!

JoAnn, your second barns would look right at home on a "gentleman's farm." Thanks for sharing and I hope to see you again.

Seeing those diamond windows on a barn are always a surprise to me :)

The red and white barn appears to be looking at you. It looks like it has eyes where the window are. The double duty silos are so nice. genie

John's cabin across the bay from us looks like it has a face. Someone left the curtain closed on one window so it looks like it is winking at me. - Margy

Silos always add such a feeling of power and stability to a farmstead. They add necessary design elements to a composition - height and vertical line.
