I'm Back - And Look What I Won!!

It has been two weeks since I posted anything on my blog.  Thank you to all who emailed and texted - checking on me.  I'm fine - just got caught up in the glory and fun that is springtime in NW Washington - flowers blooming everywhere - trees showing off their new shiny leaves - sunshine warm on the deck.

I'm changing my style of blogging a little - hoping to be here more often - and with easier to manage posts.  No more Memes - I do love them so - and will continue to read all my favorites - but I find the scheduling and planning and organizing just a bit overwhelming at the moment - so let's see how it goes.

And nooooooooooow - look what I won!!!
A pretty package - all wrapped up in Butterfly paper and with a sweet Flower Fairy

From Kim at Sarah Lizzie's - Kim had a give-away a while back and I was the extra lucky winner.  And all the way from Tasmania.  I knew nothing about Tasmania when I first found her blog - and have learned so much - our similarities and our differences - and did you know the Cadbury chocolates are made exclusively in Tasmania because of the excellent quality of the milk?  Oh and I do love Cadbury Chocolate.

I could not believe my eyes when I opened the package.  Kim had said the give-away was a hand made cushion - and I guess I was expecting something the size of a pin cushion - but oh my - the glorious gift was such a surprise.
The most wonderful cushion that goes so well with my chair that it could have been designed to fit my decor.  Look at those wonderful silk ribbon flowers - and pretty blue butterflies flitting about.
Her work is outstanding - and if you want to see more - click here and visit one of the most fascinating blogs you'll ever see.  Her decorating is fabulous - her garden is utterly amazing - what a talented and sweet lady.
The Flower Fair flew right over to the bouquet of daffodils - Flower Fairies are like that.
Each ribbon flower is elegantly styled -
and beautiful to behold.

 And a woven ribbon basket
such talent - such beauty!
The colors are perfect for our home - I am so lucky to have won this - the most wonderful item I've ever won!

A pretty ribbon butterfly among the flowers.  There just aren't words to express the joy I feel when I look at this gorgeous cushion.  Thank you so much Kim - I adore it - and it sits in the chair right next to where I sit so I can enjoy it!!!

Have you ever won a give-away from a blogger?

Lovely to see you back. I admit to having to look at a map with all this news of fires even though I know Canada is very big. I know what you mean about memes they are fun but they can take over. What a wonderful cushion. A lot of work has gone into that. Lucky you!

Oh my goodness! I am SO happy for you! What a gift of beauty! I agree with you - the "pincushion" fits into your decor as if it was custom made! The hand detailing on the flowers is incredible - and that little fairy - oh I could just gobble her up! You found the perfect spot for her!
And btw - I love your new header! I'm an animal lover so the horses work for me - but besides that, the colors are so fresh and pretty! Glad you're back! I knew you were "okay" during your break because you faithfully comment to me every time I post!
