Time Out

I think I'm going to take some time off from blogging.  I love all my friends here - and enjoy the interaction, but I need to recharge for a while - set new goals and get some things organized in my life.

Last year was a tough one - though not as tough as some had - but with both of us having long hospital stays and then the recuperations and company and finally the holidays - I'm about done in and need a break.

So I'll be around to read blogs from time to time - and hope you don't forget me while I'm on my blog-break.
I'll leave you with a current photo of Mt Baker - I know you want to see it this month.  There is over 10 feet of snow now - and we are hoping for a lot more.

Happy blogging - see you soon I hope.

We will definitely miss you, but real life should always take precedence over blogging so, you go do what you have to do. We understand. And we will be waiting when you return :)

I think sometimes just giving yourself "permission" to step back and relax is a first step to losing the stress! You put so much effort into your posts, I am not surprised you'd like to take some time off to refuel. I feel that way myself more often now, too. We'll miss you, of course, but will be right here to rejoin your beautiful journey when you are ready for us again!
Bless you, JoAnn! Your fans are both loyal and numerous!

Oh, Jo, so understandable! My days won't be the same when I can't see your lovely pictures every day. Take care of yourself(ves) and we'll be in touch!

Hi Joann! I understand that sometimes we have to take a break and just catch up with our life. You'll be missed and know we'll be here when you do. Oh, I'd love to see you Milk Glass. I have the same little chicks on their nests in Milk Glass and quite a few other colors of glass. Seems I collect those too! Take care, catch up and enjoy your break.

Oh, JoAnn, I'll miss you! But I know that breaks are necessary to keep fresh blogging, even without the challenges you faced in 2015. I hope that time to recharge will reinvigorate you and help you find the enthusiasm to come back soon! Take good care, my friend. Hugs, Kay.

I wish you well on your break...seems like a lot of us need them every now and then. I will tell you one thing...I will miss your barns! I so enjoy the ones you show.

I will miss your beautiful pictures of the mountains, and the flowers, and the barns, and the boats (and the cows, and the horses, and the birds too).... and of course the dolls in their pretty little outfits.
Rest up and come back to us when you are ready... Hugs, Candy

Come back soon. If I'm not here...well I am just lost in decluttering. I am determined this year and so far so good. Take care and I love your Mt. Baker photo. I actually got snowed in even though just down the hill there was hardly any. It just seemed to dump on me. Ha! Take care!

I will certainly miss your wonderful posts and beautiful photography, but I definitely understand the need to step back and refuel. It's so important also to be offline. Starting this year, I'm going to post every other week. This hopefully will allow me to continue to love blogging while at the same time accomplish some other things. None of us want blogging to become a chore. Please put your health first and go out and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you in the Pacific NW.
All the best,
Nora

A break sounds like a good idea. I didn't realise that you'd such a hard year - but I have been away from Blogdom for quite a while. I hope that rest brings renewed inspiration. I'll keep watching for you!

Hi Joann! Hope you're enjoying your time off. Thank you so much for the visit! I know, some of the patterns seem a little off when I use the hook they suggest. We just have to experiment.

Be a sweetie,

You will definitely be missed. But, you must take time for yourself. We all need time for that. I backed off of blogging for awhile and now I am taking a new try at it. But, I am focusing on taking care of myself, my family and home first. Trying to find that balance we all need. Look forward to seeing you again.
