A Frosty Morning

I had to be out early this morning and when I returned home there was still frost on the deck.  The rains return tonight so I had to get pictures of the frost while it lasted.

These are the wreaths the we hang on all the windows at our house.  I added some snow to the bottom one - because it isn't likely we'll get any snow and I like the looks of it.
These frosty quail live on the deck railing - today they all have a fine outline of frost.
Very chilly!  Even the barbecue is cold.
The planters on the railing are coated in frost and the drops are frozen.

A frosty sun!

Frosty days might be cold and damp but they sure provide pretty things to photograph! I like the quail family.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday JoAnn.

The frost gives everything that chilly effect! It's beautiful! We had fog this morning and I was standing outside trying to capture it 'burning off' as the sun hit it. Enjoy your evening my friend! Sweet hugs, Diane

Last night we were at the airport. I was sitting in the sun and was warm and toasty in my hoodie. But as soon as the sun went down it must have dropped at least 10 degrees instantly. I was glad when Wayne finished up laying in the cockpit and we could go home. - Margy

I love that kind of frost - we rarely get hoar frosts here.

What a beautiful burst of Christmas your new header is! Your close up shots of frost would make a lovely quilting fabric!
