Rurality Blog Hop

Madge, of The View from Right Here is hosting another group - Rurality Blog Hop  - a great place to show our scenery photos.  Thanks Madge.

We visited Plain,WA last April.  it was a bright and sunny day - and extremely windy .  Some of the photos from that  day show bits of sand on the camera lens.  I had to stop taking photos because I didn't want the sand to ruin my camera

Lake Wenatchee (not located near the town of Wenatchee, WA)

If you are ever in Plain, WA - just up the  hill from Leavenworth, WA, but sure to make a stop at Lake Wenatchee - a splendid lake with lovely picnic areas, swimming beaches and boat launch.

Also linking to Watery Wednesday.

Beautiful photographs JoAnn. It reminded me that once we spent a holiday near to Lake Winnepesauke (spelling!) - sounds like your Lake too comes from a North American Indian word.
